I just sat down to start writing this blog and there was a knock on the door - ‘I think the bees are swarming…’
We have had bees on the roof of the visitor centre in Jesmond Dene for 2 years and this is not the first time I’ve heard the dreaded swarm word! I have been assured that lots of other experienced beekeepers have had swarms over the last 2 years, probably due to the strange weather, but I still don’t feel that great about it when it happens!
